Handy tool to have around.
I purchased the 10″ version of this tool. I had a small tool of this type (different brand) but upon commencing a deck rebuild job discovered that the slots on that tool were too narrow to get around common screw and nail sizes. This one is a great size and does the job. The slots open to 5mm, which is big enough for a #10 screw and any nail you’re like to encounter. It’s also a decent small pry-bar.

Pulls the toughest nails out with ease
I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this tool. It’s a high-end forging with precision machining and a clean smooth finish. In a word, it’s “Beautiful”. I’m building a 2200 sq-ft garage and had been borrowing a friends tool (of a different brand) to pull nails from temporary support boards and rework (fixing mistakes). I was impressed with the functionality of his tool, so I bought this “Spec Ops” tool for myself. The Spec-Ops tool fits perfectly in my hand, has a large striking area and sharp claws for digging out embedded nails. Great tool! Every carpenter or DIY’er should own one… and for price why wouldn’t you?

Tough, versatile and effective while minimizing damage
Loved this tool so much I bought one for my brother. It is strong, dependable and very versatile. Bought it to use while fixing up an old animal barn. My existing tools either could do what I needed, or were very damaging to the wood. Most of the time I use this tool to get the nail out far enough to put a crowbar on it. Periodically though, the nail has been in an awkward place, and the multiple hammer points have allowed me to pop the nail out. This tool has been extremely useful

Impressive design
The nail puller digs out nails better than anything else Iâve used. Does seem to have a âflat spotâ once youâve dug it out and your trying to pull the nail, compared to the cats paw but very effective on the dig. Nice and light too. Spec Ops has definitely designed their tools to be better than competitors.

Lightweight, feels sturdy. Small compact enough to attach on body vest for ops, also good for house emergencies for prying doors/windows. Black Coating quite thick to protect the body. Non reflective coating.
