The Spec Ops Tools 9.5” Trim Bar is the perfect addition to any professional’s pry bar selection. This pry bar is constructed from rugged and durable high-carbon spring steel to mitigate any bending or snapping while in use, ensuring that this elite bar is made to last. Unlike other pry bars or scraper bars in the market, we’ve added a small, 4” ruler for fast and accurate measurements when working on a job site. Exceeding expectations on any mission, the sharp beveled edges are critical for applications such as trim/molding removal, scraping, demo work, and prying. The 90degree strike surface end with sharp edge is best used for siding nail removal or prying between finish work. For additional functionality, this trim bar comes with a nail puller, nail pulling slots for shingles, and an onboard bottle opener. This bar has been drop tested at 100 feet to surpass MIL-SPEC standards. All Spec Ops tools are backed by our five-star, hassle-free lifetime warranty, and with each purchase made, we support our nation’s heroes by donating 3% of proceeds to veteran and first responder causes.

Perfect addition to home repairs
Starting off with it’s a sharp little bugger. I was gripping the bent end and ended up cutting my palm. It works perfect for getting under show mould and quarter round around my hardwood floors. Pretty strong and lear perfect

STRONG!
Great tool! Its thin, light and very strong. I used this to help with paying down PT boards on a 600 sq deck, prying nails and small boards mounted to the outside of the deck. Just an overall great tool to have on you for quick work. I wouldnt try to jack open a front door but this thing will take a ton of pressure, not break and return to shape.

Pretty good!
Super sharp, nice and strong. The little layout feature is a little ridiculous, I donât think any professional will ever use that

Sharp edges perfect for trim and window flanges
Needed a sharp edge pry bar to get under a badly installed badly trained Pella sliding door that installers used a Dewalt nailer on. Was able to get under the nailing flange to expose head of the nails without damaging the nailing flange. Also works great as a scraper. Used both ends to scrape out the spray foam installers used on door. The finely honed the edges are very sharp so use with caution. Could use for surgery in a pinch.

Sturdy, Functional, and Affordable
First time I’ve written an Amazon review. Used this tool to remove carpet and install flooring. Tougher than nails and worked perfectly.

Itâs flat and stiff
Sharp and strong steel. Good flat bar. However, thereâs room for improvement.- Measuring feature is pulled from the wrong end. I will sharpen from time to time and this will eat up the zero mark and make the measure wrong. Far better to pull measure from the hook end, like one would with a speed square. No problem, I can re mark it.- This could double as a speed square if one side were flattened instead of tapered. I will grind it down myself with my belt sander.- The outside edges are cut too sharp, which makes it hazardous in a tool belt pocket. I put my belt sander on it and tapered the offending edges. It would be even better as a spade shape with a cut for nail pull in the tip of the spade, similar to a cats paw but flat. Or like a flattened spork. But Iâm not eating with it.

Was going to buy a similar tool of older design and found this one. More features, made in USA (I’m in Canada), and they support veterans and first responders. Ordered it.I’d had a similar bar but lost it. Need one not so much for siding or nail pulling, but for less aggressive loosening, prying, and chisel work. Hence my interest in the “sharp beveled edge.” Unfortunately, the edge is beveled but it is not sharp. It’s quite safe even for kids’ hands, if you get the picture. So I will likely still need a chisel to chip out and flatten the cuts I make on 2×4 joins. Not finishing carpentry, for sure, but I’d thought this tool would do it.So, I can only give 4* because of what I feel is a piece of incorrect information.Luckily I have chisels and can go get one if this Spec Ops tool (which will live in my ‘quick grab’ kit) isn’t adequate (haven’t tested it yet). And I do think I will get a lot of use of out this lovely tool. It’s beautifully finished, fairly heavy (feels good in hand), at 9.5″ a bit longer/better than my old one, and sure appears to be strong.I got a kick out of the beer bottle opener. Sadly, they omitted a cork screw : )
