Great General Purpose Tool Set
This is a great well made tool box. We keep this at our rental home & is a perfect tool kit for most general repairs. We keep away from the renters so items don’t go missing from the kit & we have what we need when we need to make repairs. Tools are nice weight in the hand, not too light or heavy. Nice case that has a place for each tool which makes it easy to spot when a tool is missing as you clean up. Case is not heavy at all. Have had this for a year now & still in perfect condition. So far, we have hung pictures, drapery rods, put metal bed frames together, put a grill together. Very nice all purpose tool kit. Thanks Stanley for making a nice quality product. You cannot go wrong with Stanley tools.

Good basic set with some issues
Good basic set of tools for the house, but it does have some issues.Bought them in 2016 & within the first 2 weeks of opening it, some of the tools began to rust. Only ever used the screwdriver & hammer at the time too (surprisingly they weren’t the ones rusting). Tools were never wet & there was no moisture in the box, so not too sure how they rusted so fast – as I never even touched the other tools. I can only guess they were cheaply coated.An easy way to clean off the rust is to let the tools soak in vinegar for a few hours or overnight (just the metal parts, not the handles), then scrub with an old toothbrush & rinse in water with baking soda. Wipe as much liquid off then let air dry. I’ve done this maybe twice in 3 years & it works to remove the rust.Anyhow, another issue I had was the hammer head is a softer metal, compared to a regular hammer from the local tool store. Hammering nails on walls inside the house left dents on the hammer. I ended up buying another Stanley brand hammer from the local store which doesn’t dent like the one from this set. The leveler is pretty useless too as it’s not actually level at all.Overall it’s a good basic beginner set though, but I wouldn’t pay more than $30 for it though.

I knew it would make a great Christmas gift
I bought this as a Christmas present for my father to put in his vehicle for emergency use. My father owns hundreds of tools, and I have seen the Stanley brand here and there around the house. So when I found this, I knew it would make a great Christmas gift. It includes a tape measure, a hammer, a screwdriver, and leveler, a box cutter, and many more tools to use,It comes with a plastic carrying case which would look like it would wear down after so many uses. It’s currently tight to take out and place tools back in so we will have to see how long it would last. Overall, it has many of the necessary tools that you would need, especially the different types of bits for the Drive Bit holder. The tools look extremely well made and look like tools that will last a long time since steel is usually a good material to use..I am glad I made this purchase and would consider buying my own tool kit of the exact kind. I have read the older reviews stating how it had a screw in the actual case to prevent it from being opened. The company has read the reviews because the product I received had a small zip tie instead of the screw. If anything faulty happens down the line, I will update my review. For the price ? This is a no brainer. Excellent set of tools, in a nice storage format.The only tool that felt of lesser quality was the box cutter. Mine broke rather quickly, granted I wasn’t particularly gentle with it. But I wasn’t even upset, this is still an excellent set. Every other tool in this feels like really good quality.

Really useful toolbox with all the basics and essentials. Quality of the products is quite good, they’ve got a good weight to them so they don’t feel super cheap. My only gripe about it is the moulding of the case doesn’t always keep the tools from falling out of place so they just end up rolling around in there once I’ve managed to close it. Overall, definitely a good purchase!
